Integrating sustainable practices in the way we live and work is therefore imperative. UAE has been taking significant steps to overcome this challenge. Dubai Municipality aims to reduce its energy consumption through lighting by 50 per cent, resulting in savings of 6,200 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year. It will focus on using natural lighting where possible and switching to energy-efficient LED lights at 260 municipality-affiliated centres. -Solar powered eco-friendly parks Al Khazan park is an eco-friendly park situated in Al Wasl road, Jumeirah, Dubai.
