The European Union and IUCN join 9 member states Forest Commission for Central Africa (COMIFAC) to Launch BIOPAMA-Protected areas and biodiversity Observatory for Central Africa. The European Union under the framework of FLEGT VPA Agreement in the Congo Basin joined 50 delegates from NGOs and protected area Institutions likely to use data in Central and West Africa to launch the Observatory for Protected Areas and Biodiversity in West and Central Africa. ![]() This observatory aims to formalize the establishment of the BIOPAMA Observatory for the regions of Central and West Africa.
