Water Wastage and Mosquito-Breedingby | 13-12-2014 21:54 |

India's climate is very monsoon-inclined and hence one can always find pools and puddles of water there. This results in the excessive breeding of mosquitoes. Also, since water is usually wasted and allowed to collect here, there is a vicious cycle that results. Water is not carefully managed leading to water wastage and collection of water in open areas and then mosquito breeding. And hence, linking water wastage to mosquito breeding was the focus of the seminar that I conducted in a school in Tamil Nadu, India during my vacations. |
