 Artificial Ecosystem comes from 3 words, Artificial means man-made, Ecological and System. It meets all the criteria of a natural ecosystem but for this matter it is managed and made by humans. An artificial ecosystem can't thrive productively without human intervention. Different types of artificial ecosystem: 1. Terrestrial, like man-made forest or grassland 2. Aquatic, like ponds and so on. 5 Characteristics of Artificial Ecosystem: 1. Difference in special will be lesser compared to the natural ones. 2. Artificial ecosystem is pragmatic with a well defined goals. 3. Artificial Ecosystem is likely to be more productive thanks to human intervention. 4. Improvements in artificial ecosystem may expand a certain species do to the effective calculation in room and space. 5. Artificial Ecosystem depends on natural cosmic laws.
