Monthly Thematic Report November - Renewable Energy

by Sagar Koirala | 10-02-2023 17:53

Renewable energy is defined as energy that comes from an endless source, like the sun, wind, or water. As our traditional energy sources, like fossil fuels, become more limited and our reliance on them grows more harmful to the environment, renewable energy has grown in importance. These conventional energy sources have competition from renewable energy, which has several advantages.

The environmental impact of renewable energy is one of its main advantages. Renewable energy sources are clean because they don't release any airborne pollutants. Renewable energy sources don't cause global warming or climate change, in contrast to fossil fuels. Additionally, since renewable energy sources are cyclical, unlike fossil fuels, they won't run out. This indicates that renewable energy sources can offer a consistent energy source that won't run out.

The affordability of renewable energy is another advantage. Renewable energy sources may initially cost more to install than conventional energy sources, but over time, the costs may drop significantly. This is so that energy can be produced for a long time with little maintenance and without incurring continuous fuel costs. Renewable energy sources grow increasingly efficient and cost-effective as technology advances.
