Individual and political action on climate change can take many forms, most of which have the ultimate goal of limiting and/or reducing the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, toward avoiding dangerous climate change. We see leaders today such as Bill Mckibben (on whom I wrote a report last year in tunza eco-gen plaza) , who wrote The End of Nature , Fight Global Warming...,Eaarth and several other novels and also addressed vast audiences in the US. But in the past as well, there have been leaders who felt the urge to work towards stopping global warming and one of the most prominent ones is Mahatma Gandhi, the personality who led the Indian Freedom Struggle. Below is my article 'Looking Up to Gandhi' on his green ideas explained by Indian PM Narendra Modi which I'm sure all of us can benefit from by reading. This will surely widen our horizon of knowledge. This was published in the national newspaper of UAE.
