THUNBERG vs TATE [February Thematic Report] <The Role of the Green Leaders of the Next Generation>

The Role of the Green Leaders of the Next Generation

2022 was a turbulent year for the climate space and the internet as a whole, especially considering the terrifying rise of professional misogynist Andrew Tate. Popular, amongst his target demographic of 12-year-old boys, this controversial internet personality decided to grace the new year by tweeting out an insult to beloved teenage climate activist and green leader, Greta Thunberg.

Flaunting his inane number of revoltingly pollution-heavy vehicles, the bald menace played his cards in hope of piquing Thunberg's attention. Her reply is remarked as one of twitters greatest tweets, words fit for the internet¡¯s hall of fame, I would quote her but I fear her words may be too powerful (and borderline explicit).

Tate¡¯s video response to her rebuttal featured a pizza box that confirmed his whereabouts. He was then accused and captured by the ¡°matrix¡± on Dec 29th, 2022. The Romanian police raided his house to arrest him for human trafficking and rape claims.

The two alleged women have gone on Romanian TV to say how they weren¡¯t raped and how the government is just using them and ¡°the whole case is built on lies¡±. Leaks of Tate admitting to loving raping women have also surfaced. His most recent appeal has also been denied and is now detained till 27th February.

If the next generation of green leaders takes after Thunberg in any shape or form, we may stand a chance at tackling the climate change problem head-on.
