 The Box Appeal is a charity initiative run by Radisson Blu and Park Inn Hotels in the UAE, Bahrain, Beirut, Muscat and Cairo for the workers who are behind all the glitters around us in day to day life but often deprived or neglected..... Originally created in 2008 as part of Radisson Blu and Park Inn?s Responsible Business Action Month, that takes place every year in September, the appeal has become more and more successful each year. The programme asks people to fill boxs (provided by the organisation) with essential goods from a provided list which includes the following items T-Shirt, Cap, Disposable Razor, Shaving Cream, Deodorant, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Small Hand Towels, Comb, Soap, Shampoo, Talcum powder These boxes are then distributed to those most in need across the region. Green brigade is participating in this social charity event since last 3 years and this year also we have donated total 22 boxes..here are some snaps for the event...    |
