In our area the ground water level is goes on decreasing and we are buying water everyday. The reason for this is lack of rain in our area. Before five years while I am 8yrs. we got surplus of rain and we lead a good life with pure water. But now a days we get less rainfall. But today we get a rain from the morning. I n our apartment we celebrate this rain fall. The reason for this is during Thane cyclone we lost more number of trees in our area. That is why I spread awareness everywhere and donate saplings and planted in public places. I spread the seed of neem and tamarind on the sides of bye pass road about 32 kms. My grandfather prepare the seeds and saplings for my environmental activities. I think in future we will get more rain fall. Another main reason for less ground water level is use of carry bags, it bans the rain water go into the ground, it takes place the much area in the upper part of the soil. There is no water in the rivers surroundings in our area. The bushes and short plants are grown there without water flowing in that part. It looks like ground without water. Many ponds are dried without water. So lands in that area are without farming beacuse they need water. So we expect a one rain drop as our treasure. |
