       The program is designed to provide an early exposure for primary school students (Year 5 and 6) to know more about environmental issues. Besides that, all the activities are held to create environmental awareness among school students through two-way communication and hands-on activities especially when they are living in an isolated forest-like area with less technology advancement. The objectives of the program cover:- i. To create an environmental conservation awareness among school children ii. To cultivate positive emotions and responsibilities in environmental protection through hands on activities and education training among the young generation iii. To develop young people to be more aware and concerned about environmental issues iv. To engage student students to be actively involved in activities related to teaching and learning of environment. Activities Description: 1. Explorace - It is an environmental-based station games that able to encourage team building among students yet at the same time solving tasks which are related to the environment issues. 2. Green Drink - It is platform built to encourage the mutual interaction between students from University of Malaya and the school students to brainstorm coherently on the current issues which related to the environment. 3. Video Screening - It is a video showing session with emphasis on current environment issues. 4. Group Performance - It is a task that needs to be performed by the group members to express their thoughts and opinions to solve environmental problems. 5. Green Innovation - It is an approach to breed creativity among the school students in constructing new products which are environmentally friendly. |
