![]() ![]() DARE TO CARE TO THE ENVIRONMENT? WHY NOT? at SMA N 1 Jepara 1 st Pace for Badges Distribution Background Climate change is one of significant changes of natural phenomenons especially in climate such as unpredictible air temperature, flooding and drought during or more than 30 years. It is not only brought about by natural processes, it is but also generated by antrophogenics such as fossil fuel utilization, deforestation, forest degradation, pollution and so forth. The Panel Committee of UNFCC revealed that climate change will generate big impacts in which the impacts will be positively responded by natural system, but these will influence other realms. Health, house and food will be threatened by climate change as well. Mostly, humans are identified as the environmental destructors unnaturally. And, a view of anthropogenic, they play roles directly and indirectly without counterbalancing the next, present, and future influences for the future generations. Addressing these environmental problems in Indonesia is not easily like turning hands. It is necessary multi-stakeholder to tackle these problems. Such multi-stakeholders are government, private and NGOs as well as individuals. It is a must due environmental decision making, solution, and ethics cannot be separated and fragmented partially without encouraging them. For instance, consider the issue of climate change in which decisions that we make today— at the policy level and as individual consumers of energy and natural resources—will affect all of humankind for generations to come. One of the most innovative ways to address climate change is by educating students early before doing inappropriate things to the environment. Education is subjected because of lack of education about climate change. So, IGAF conducted real action through increasing knowledge and understanding about climate change, and increased environmental awareness as a very indispensable thing to reduce the impacts of climate change at SMA N 1 Jepara. objectives The objectives of the programme entitled the Increasing Environmental Awareness of Students through YUNGA?s Environmental Badges were: a.
