The formal education programs in Mexico integrate in their various levels, contents intend to be competencies, aim to train students about environmental responsibility.
One of the great challenges of these programs are the skills and abilities of teachers, they do not have the tools necessary to carry out appropriate strategies that drive the real motivation of the students and give continuity to the preservation and promotion of a culture on the environment.
Some states in the country have department responsible an development and planning of study, teaching materials, project management, resources and training for teachers, being an example for other companies within the country.
As we know the territory Mexicano is megadivers, with a wealth in biodiversity, climate, ecosystems, water bodies and natural resources, that to be preserved require an effort committed and extra on the part of those who have the great vocation of forming.
That's why, in my interest and search for this effort I found a great environmental education program implemented by the biologist Alfredo Rosales Acosta and  the non-governmental organization BIOFUTURA A.C.
EcolTurizarte as such program is mastered, through free workshops, presents us with a proposal for non-formal education, where children and young people have the opportunity to discover with activities and knowledge, the  environmental wealth of our country and encourage them to know the importance that represent each one, for the structure of a true culture of environmental responsibility.
Workspaces are free and are held once a week, where issues related to the objectives of the organization are raised, cleaning crews are made in the colonies, reforestation campaigns and tours.
Ecolturizarte is a great example which we should implement in our workspaces.
