 This summer, I am spending a few weeks working for the UNEP Ozone Secretariat in Kenya, where I am participating in several projects. One of the projects is supporting the preparation of the International Ozone Day on the 16 th of September 2014 . This celebration is a reminder that the mission to protect the ozone layer goes on. This year, the UNEP Ozone Secretariat invites young people to send their own videos speaking about the importance of continuing and stepping up efforts to protect the ozone layer. These people will be the Ozone Voices and some of the videos will be shared from the International Ozone Day onwards in many countries and will be available to anyone. The UNEP Ozone Secretariat aims at collecting as many videos as possible from all around the world.
I think that it would be really helpful for the environment if eco-generation members could make their own videos up to 60 seconds and send them to any of the mails below, since they have repeatedly shown great eagerness to contribute to environmental activities. I hope this project will be proven successful and that it will help to make the 2014 Ozone Day special! Your voice is powerful. Raise it! Information about the UNEP Ozone Secretariat here
