As far as deforestation is concerned, it has become one of the favorite activities of humans to extract the assorted needs.  According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), an estimated 18 million acres (7.3 million hectares) of forest are lost each year which has been playing a considerable (12 to 17 percent)  role in green house gasses emission. In case of Nepal, about 25% of people are under poverty line and around 70% of people have dependency on the forest for their survival. This, ultimately is driving to the alarming rate of deforestation with 2% per annum.

Visualizing the  need of  a forestation to mitigate the green house gas emission and even a   interest of local people in Bharatpur 5 & 6, chitwan,Nepal to maintain a greenery , Clean Up Nepal- Chitwan organized a "Tree Plantation Program" on the date 2nd August, 2014. This program was conducted in collaboration with different organizations like Shanti Ama Samuha, Private Sanitation Office Bharatpur, Tunza Eco Generation, Nepal's Friendship Society and many other organizations. We are feeling so satisfied by forwarding a small step to ensure a healthier life of upcoming generations and also committed to forward our environmental friendly activities  in upcoming days." These sorts of positive compliment and enthusiasm of the participant made program well accomplished and inspired us to involve in environment friendly activities. I really felt great on coordinating such a wonderful program and I am heartly thankful to all the participants for their presence and support.

Plants are the utmost creation of nature for the existence of human. However, they are being depleted in an higher pace which is forwarding to the increased extinction of flora and fauna from the earth. Also, this has lead to the increased vulnerability of human existence. So, there is a urgency of plantation from today itself by each and every individual  to allow the living organisms on the earth for using their inborn right i.e right to live in green and healthy environment. The most important initiative to be taken  in order to make a earth as a green planet is to conduct the programs at grassroots level and involve all the people from different dimensions in making our planet clean, green and healthy.
