DYING MOTHER (poem)

by | 06-08-2014 12:06

I'm an aspring poet and this is for Mama Nature

DYING MOTHER

By

Timothy Nkenu Woma

She is beautiful
Naturally dutiful
To be green and forever fruitful
Oh!She is also Eternally youthful

Trampled on and polluted by
Her kids with ungrateful eyes
From New York up to Shangai
Her heart bleeds of ice

Cars and bikes, wheels and spikes
Polluting and attacking her daily with no compensation
But when clamity strikes

Everyone asks the same question that they have the answer to: "What Is Happening To Mother?"

Mother is dying, her kids are killing her
She gave and is giving them their breath but they do not appreciate
Mother is innocent,
But her kids are killing her.
