Tree plantation program was conducted on the premises of IAAS Paklihawa Agriculture campus on 25 July on the collaboration of campus and student Union. Firstly the formal program was launched in which the chief guest and other guests gave speech on the importance of the plantation and its significance in the creation of the green and healthy environment. At the present content of global warming and adverse climate change, it is an utmost necessary to conduct such plantation program. Also they appreciated the initiation done by students for the preservation of environment and they cited that only planting the trees is not the big thing but to conserve it is the main one. So conservation is the most important after plantation to make the healthier environment. After the formal session, the plantation program was started by the inauguration by the chief guest, also the campus chief Dr. Kanhaiya Prasad Singh with the planting of the tree. Almost 100 to 120 people were participated in the programs including students, teachers and other staffs on the campus. All the participants eagerly participated in the programs and they made commitment to conserve the plants they planted. Altogether about 150 plants of different species were planted at different area within the campus premises. The plantation program was conducted with the aim to make the greenery environment in the campus and to provide the fresh air and also to reduce the impact of the pollution from the nearby brick industries, also for the reduction of the land cuttings and soil erosion by the nearby Dande river which lies at the border between Nepal and India. Overall the program was successfully conducted with an oath to conserve it properly.
