![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A LEGENDARY GLOBAL RECOGNITION John Muir Youth Environmental Conservation Award PAIRED WITH THE LEGENDS. Aspiring to get youth coming together and make a difference through my group SynergY, I have successfully convinced hundreds of youth to build a strong bond to Green UAE. A legendary global recognition come to me as the Youth Environmental Conservation Award by John Muir Association USA. The John Muir Association announced the recipients of its 36th annual John Muir Conservation Awards, and – like John Muir s – their work has both a local and global outreach as these special recognition awards are given for extraordinary accomplishments. I am so honored to be paired with such eminent environmental legends and be recognized as one of the five global awards honoree this year by John Muir Conservation Awards for Youth Environmental Conservation Award I received a Beautiful poster from California USA, showing the pictures of the winners and in the background was a congratulatory note from John Muir himself printed. I was further touched when I received the email from the President of John Muir Association that they honored me on stage at the event with all the other Conservation Award recipients. She sent me the message that was read out when all the recipients received their awards and everyone present including the Congressman George Miller who attended and also spoke at the ceremony, heard about my accomplishments as Simran, who lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, established the youth group SynergY to provide opportunities for young people to participate in environmental events, such as clean up drives and tree-planting initiatives. In 2011, she was a speaker at the Eye on Earth Summit in Abu Dhabi has since promoted the Eye on Environmental Education. In 2013, she was the youngest panelist at the United Nations headquarters to celebrate International Youth Day 2013. Simran was also selected to be trained by former Vice-President Al Gore at the Climate Reality Corps in Chicago in August, 2013'.
John Muir Association Board Member, Cathy Ivers, presented me with the beautiful plaque and the Congressional Certificate in Dubai as I could not travel to USA due to school.
