   It is indeed a moment of pride and joy for Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Girls' Branch), being the Eco Leaders of the future, to win the Green Flag Award. An honour, a recognition, a prestige, whatsoever we may take it to be, we promise to remember that, to Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Girls' Branch), it is an inspiration. An inspiration to move forward, an inspiration to do more. As the President of the Our Own Eco Club and Deputy Head Girl of Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Girls' Branch)), I will be receiving the award on behalf of my school, on the 4th of May at a grand ceremony conducted by us. OOS won the Green Flag Award because we are a community, not just an eco club or eco team, working towards a common goal - to save our planet. There are big hands conducting Green Audits and small fingers switching lights off. That's what effectively makes us an Eco School. May the Our Own Eco Club, Sharjah live forever and pass on the legacy of a guarantee to a better future and a better Earth... |
