My research about illegal logging

As yellow dust has been on the rise, experts have studied that 'desertification' is one of the most destructive and direct causes of yellow dust. According to the statistics and documents about a root of yellow dust through Korea, more than 60% of it came from Mongolian Plateau and Gobi Desert. Therefore, after analyzing numerous data, I found that yellow dust that flows into Korea is closely related with the serious desertification of Mongolia, especially in company with deforestation due to an illegal logging of firms.

Illegal logging is generally conducted by private loggers and wood-cutting companies who are occupied in forestry. As the wood industry has been vitalized, more and more loggers need numerous amounts of timbers. However, the Ministry of Nature and Environment of Mongolia (MNE) permits only a limited amount of trees to get cut thus, firms that are in need of more woods cut trees in illicit ways. More than 500 companies are deeply depending on wood industry, which makes the government have difficulty in regulating them strictly.

So I made a model, which has a mutual relationship among several entities entangled like a web to promote efficiency in surveillance system, by modelling 'green industrialization' of Canada Burnside Industrial Park. Every sector will be contacted and interacted with other sectors, and through their relationships, monitoring the illegal logging will be strengthened more than before.
