Dear friends, I am glad to share with you that having scored 91 out of 100 , I have topped Middle East in the annual TERI Green Olympiad Exam with the theme 'Environment and Sustainable Development - Issues and Concerns in our Lives'. TERI Green Olympiad Examination was conducted in the month of September 2013 . It is an annual written examination on environment initiated by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) to test the knowledge of students in the field of environment and in turn create awareness about issues touching their daily lives. Green Olympiad is endorsed by UNESCO and DESD (Decade of Education for Sustainable Development) and is supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forests , Government of India . The exam is conducted by Educating Youth for Sustainable Development Division of TERI and attracts participation from lakhs of school students across India and abroad. In 2013 , more than 2000 schools and more than 200,000 students participated in this exam from all across the globe - Middle East, Nepal, Singapore, Russia, Kenya ,Indonesia, Iran, Bhutan, Nepal, USA ,Singapore etc. It would be unfair on my part if I don't thank Tunza Eco Gen for this . My sincere heartfelt thanks to each one of you and the Eco Generation forum for enriching my knowledge on environmental issues and concerns. I really mean it . I have been learning a lot by posting reports on environmental matters and by reading all your reports . My this performance was not possible if I was not on Tunza forum . THANK YOU ALL and let's keep this forum alive and rich with knowledge.
