Think Like a Scientist on the World Science Day

by | 25-02-2014 20:20

Hi all,

It's a great opportunity to become an E-Gen Ambassador. Chances are open to get in touch with many friends around the world. In many occasions, also being invited to share your view about environmental issues with others in discussion forums.

Established by UNESCO in 2001, the "World Science Day for Peace and Development" is celebrated worldwide on 10 November each year. It offers an opportunity to demonstrate to the wider public why science is relevant to their daily lives and to engage them in debate on related issues.

My club, FOSCA (Forum of  Scientist Teenagers) celebrated the World Science Day nagers) celebrated the World Science Day 2013 at Senior High School '106' in East Jakarta.  As E-Gen  Ambassador, I was invited to deliver a presentation to many inspirational friends with many achievements in various science exhibition, i.e. OPSI (Indonesian Young Researcher Olympic), LKIR (Youth Scientific Research Competition), ISPO (Indonesia Science Project Olympiad). We also  hosted a science camp in the National Park of Thousand Island, north of Jakarta.

As we are in the era of Young Generation, through my presentation I shared about interlinked topics on "Think Like A scientist Observing, Communicating, Classifying, Measuring and Inferring".
