Dubai is celebrating CAR FREE DAY today. I am glad to share with you that to set example for others , Directors & other top bosses of various Dubai government departments ride the Metro to work this morning.

About 9000 cars are expected to be left behind to travel by public transport today.

4,000 people have registered to go car free today.  100 residents who signed up for initiative will be rewarded with sports bicycles

As part of its initiative to encourage Dubai residents to put their green footprint forward, the Dubai Municipality is encouraging everyone to go car-free on 19^th Feb ,Wednesday.

65 government and private organisations are joining in the endeavor .

The huge exhibition on green initiatives, eco-friendly equipments at the car park in Dubai Municipality headquarters was also  inaugurated this  morning.
