Propelled by 4 rotors, half a meter across, battery operated craft that resembles a butterfly comprising of a top compartment to carry small parcels like ID Cards, Driving License & other permits is a new Unmanned Drone, a prototype of which has been developed by UAE Government to upgrade its services.

United Nations has already applauded the use of Smart Government by Dubai in the past. Dubai is taking all positive steps towards smart governance & it has been recognized & appreciated world over. Many other countries have started following this model.

All these steps are environment friendly as lesser vehicles will be used for conducting government services. And keeping in view thousands of persons use these services every day, the saving potential is very high.

An Emirati Engineer, Abdulrahman Alserkal has designed this project. Fingerprint and eye-recognition security systems would be used to protect the drones and their cargo, said the engineer.

It may take 6 months to an year to make it viable but In the modern world where weapons are produced & manufactured every day & each new weapon is deadlier than the former, It is a welcome step by UAE in environmental & technological area.
