Tunza Eco Generation will be having a poster making contest at your school this term. Tunza?s goal is to awaken an eco-friendly sprit within the youth of our world. I hope that while making this poster you will learn what the environment means to you and think about how you can do your part to help the environment. This contest involves you making a poster to portray what the following environmental topics mean to you.

 

The topics to choose from are: Save food, save our planet, Sea level rise, or Green living

 

Rules:

 

1. Poster can be drawn on any size paper.
2. Name, age, and homeroom must be written clearly on the back of the poster
3. Any form of medium may be used (ex: crayon, pencil colors, pastels, paints etc?)
4. Only one poster from each entrant is allowed

5.      No copyrighted artwork, characters, or name brands (i.e. Coke, Pepsi) are used in the poster

6.      In order to participate this form must be submitted to the office by February 7^th and posters must be submitted by March 3^rd.

7.      You must submit a short summary (5-10 sentences) of what you learned through your art about the topic you drew on along with the poster. Don?t forget to put your name on the summary as well!

Judging Guidelines:

 

1.      Category One: Best Poster Overall (First, Second, Third)

 This category is assessed by the following guidelines:

v  Clear message conveyed by the text and artwork

v  The poster theme listed above is addressed

v  Creativity, originality and artistic quality

v  Visual clarity - easily read and

v  Bright and colorful.

 

2.      Category Two: Best Insight and Expression Award

This category will be assessed on content and thought that goes into the poster.
