Tamil Nadu is a state in India and It is special for its Special Festivals and prosperity. For the past 4 years the rainfall has decreased according to that of the previous years. We know that water is very important for our day to day life. As the rainfall has decreased, in some of the villages in Tamil Nadu, the people have to walk 3-4 km on sand when sun is high. They are going in search of water. Sun's heat evaporates the water and many people are afraid that heavy drought would be found during summer. Today only I heard the news and it's still cold but there is scarcity of water in many places as the annual rainfall is depleted for the past 4 years. I am also having solution to this problem, but we have to work a little bit harder to reduce this scarcity. We have to plant more and more plants, so rainfall increases. As the water level is reducing and reducing. I see in many places they are lowering he bores. The main reason for this is the usage of plastics. As plastics formed a layer on the surface, the water that came when raining formed a layer of water above the plastics. The water did not reach the soil. As a result the bore level decreased. The most dangerous thing is the water which formed a layer above the plastics, because the stagnant water above the plastics were acting as a good place for the breeding of mosquitoes. Mosquitoes laid their eggs and it formed many mosquitoes. These formed during the rainy season, and during this time it is also the time when all the places are full of water, and diseases spread easily. So many diseases like dengue, malaria has been formed due to the stagnant water. As the amount of sewage water and waste water has increased the quantity of pure water reduced because pure water was wasted. The process of water cycle has been reduced according to news details.It is funny to calculate, the amount of rainfall has reduced. I noticed this because, When I was studying in 3rd Standard:I got 4 weeks as holidays due to heavy rain. And I was unable to reach internet, unable to see television. No electricity for a long time. When I was studying in 4th Standard: I got only 1 week as rainy holiday. But this was not worst like my previous year. When I was studying in 5th Standard:I got only 3 days as holidays due to heavy rain. But as per weather forecast there was not heavy rain that was expected. Water deficiency showed interest during summers. When I was studying in 6th Standard:I got no days as holidays. During every year rain rained during September to November. But during this year it did not rain heavily. LAST YEAR I DID NOT GET ANY DAY AS RAINY HOLIDAY. I think you all can understand that hoe rain is reducing year by year. I am so afraid what would happen tomorrow. SAVE WATER SAVE FUTURE! |
