We need to change

A lot of people are skeptical on the global warming and why it is bad. First, if you do not know what greenhouse gases are, they are how the earth absorbs the sun?s light and heat to make plants grow and animals thrive. The sunlight passes through the greenhouse gases and is absorbed by the land and water. Without the greenhouse gases, the earth would be very cold and carry little life. Water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane are all examples of greenhouse gases.

We, humans, let out a lot of greenhouse gases everyday because of the power plants and cars we drive. Because we let out carbon dioxide and other pollutants that gather in the atmosphere, which traps the sun's heat and makes the planet warm-up. The more the planet gets hotter, the more the ice caps melt, which causes the tides to get higher. All of this affects the earth as a whole. Animals are affected by the climate change because their habitat may change and their food source may migrate or die. Plant life is affected by climate change by the limited sunlight, water, or drought.

This is all caused by excess of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. This is an increasing problem. All of these things create a cycle of negative consequences for the earth. We need to change our views on the environment and help make the earth a more stable place to live. We also need to take actions so that we can pass on our earth to our future generations. We can do this by recycling more, using cars and buses less, and using less water.
