Happy Holidays!

by | 28-12-2013 23:49

It?s that time of year again?Christmastime?Festive, joyful and jolly. On behalf of United4Literacy I would like to wish you the most joyful holidays. I hope you have a very merry Christmas and a very happy New Year. On this occasion we must reflect on the past year and look forward to next year. Every year that passes we learn more, experience more and grow. We at United4Literacy have learned and grew over the past year. We have done more to accomplish our goal of spreading literacy and more importantly learned what more we can do. At this time we all should make some New Year Resolutions. I believe that making these resolutions are an important part of approaching the New Year and making it the most enjoyable and fulfilling. So, let?s all make our New Year?s Resolutions. We all promise that in the New Year to come we will try our best again to ensure that some forgotten child in some obscure corner of our world will feel that someone cares for them. We will try to show that child that the world still exists for them and we will empower the forgotten. Each one of us will teach one of them and by spreading the light of literacy we will truly change a life. Knowledge is often a key part of one?s identity, it influences their self-respect. It can empower them and open so many doors in life. Only knowledge can help one achieve your dreams. It can lead someone out of poverty, it can give someone direction and most importantly it can allow someone to dream and reach for the stars. Let?s play our part in empowering the forgotten. Let?s make our New Year?s Resolution: ?Each One Teach One?.

Happy Holidays everyone!
