 It is been long time I'm not reporting my activities here... Last months ago, there was a festival held in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. It is yearly event about how the citizen must love the local food. It was sponsored by PIB or Perkumpulan Indonesia Berseru, one organization that intends to realize prosperity in rural areas to urban consumers while encouraging the healthy living. One of the activities that we did at that time was to spreading out about the local food campaign. Name of the festival was "Festival Desa", as part of efforts to encourage the presence of a healthy food system and justice . Village Festival 2013 had held on 9-10 November 2013 ( Saturday - Sunday ) at Ragunan Campgrounds . The big theme of this event was " We Take Care of Food Sources " . There... we provided various exciting activities that students, parents, teachers and the general public can get involved and take part in it. We also invited the teachers and the school community to come to this event . Some of the activities that had been done : 1 . Workshop : create natural fertilizer and farming , manufacturing and natural dyes 2 . Drawing Competition 3 . Cooking competition : Tempe and Local flour ( for ages 15-22 years ) 4 . Various game : create and making kite , and traditional games 5 . Workshop about : healthy school canteen 6 . Photo Competition " Food around FesDes 2013 " . At this event, I also met with the previous ambassador from Indonesia, Bambang Sutrisno. That was fun green activities which could I shared with. |
