Tomorrow is the birthday of the 2nd president of India, "Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan". Once a group of students wanted to celebrate his birthday. But instead he told, that instead of celebrating his birthday, he told them to celebrate it for Teachers. And that is what exactly happened..... Indians dedicate the day of September 5th every year to say "thank you" to teachers. There are many ways students do so. Some of them, prepare cards, bouqets, etc to gift them. While in some schools, students role play teachers for a day and give them a day off. While in some schools like ours, there are events to celebrate the day where there are songs, games, etc. So , people share your views on teacher's day. Your tributes to them too. I remember, it was a teacher who first instilled the sense of environmental interest in me. :) |
