by | 30-08-2013 18:37

Background of Burundi Animal Live Museum

The live museum of Burundi has been made as a project result of partnership between Burundian ministry of trade, industry and tourism the ministry of youth, sport and culture and the United Nations Development Program. The live museum of Burundi host numerous amazing wild animals that we are not always used to find anywhere on the earth such as primates, mammals and reptiles. Among them we can say chimpanzee, antelopes, leopard, crocodiles, great lizard and snacks.

Chimpanzee

The chimpanzee of the museum is very wonderful and it is used to be closer with humans. He stays in his animal box. Very intelligent as humans except that it doesn't talk like us.

Antelope

We find one antelope in the museum and there is a small glass land for it where it stays and people come to watch, it is very nice and beautiful.

Leopard

There is a great very beautiful leopard with a lovely colors skin, it stays in its animal box. I wished to thatch to its skin but it couldn't be possible because I would be killed by it.

Crocodiles

The museum has Nile crocodiles and Lake Tanganyika crocodiles, the last one are very dangerous and active. We used to give them Guinea pig and watch how they eat.

Great Lizard

There is a great wonderful lizard in the museum and it used to stay in a tree and go to the small pit. People confuse it with a small crocodile because it looks alike.

Snacks

The museum is rich in snacks from across Africa. Among them we can say Heurtantes Vipers, green Mamba, Arboricoles Vipers, Gabon Vipers, Cracheur Cobra, and Banana Green Snacks as they are shown in photos. It was really amazing to see these snacks live, I felt afraid but it was wonderful to watch them.

How wonderful, amazing, beautiful and interesting of wildlife of Live Museum of Burundi, once you will enter into Bujumbura never leave without visit the Live Animal Museum of Burundi and watch its beautiful creatures.
