The Eco Green Bee Competition was lunched this spring in Romania, with the main purpose to find out which is the greenest school in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania.

The steps of implementing eco-education are school were basically part of the theoretical learning process and a part of learning by doing in a playful and joyful way. For chancing the attitude of each person regarding the environment, is recommended the encouragement of eco-habits in nature and also in the social environment, even from the childhood.

So in a warm day of spring, in one of the biggest parks in Bucharest, a spaceship (a toy one) was launched there, on the ground, to be a play and learn space for the children.

In the spaceship children have taken eco-classes, were it was explained to them the principles of ecology. It was a good thing to d it like this, because the process of learning and assimilating information, is realized faster during interactive activities.

In the Eco Bee spaceship each children become a small astronaut and had to follow the orders of captain Roxo, and to make his best whil making the space mission accomplished. The success of the mission depends of the knowledge and skills of each participant.

During the journey the children tried to found out other planets, and to transform those in earth-planets, like Terra the Earth suffers due the bad habits of people  and no one knows how much  live will be on it.

During this amazing experience, children learned the introductory concepts of ecology, and got the know-how to protect Earth?s resources.
