12th Annual Youth Assembly at the United Nations,

held from August 7-9, 2013,

at the United Nations HQ in New York

The Youth Assembly is a once in a lifetime opportunity for any young leader to learn about the United Nations and its work towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals.

Representing the International Youth Council as Chapter Leader United Arab Emirates I was part of a global coalition of young people working towards sustainable development which gave me opportunity as a Speaker and participant in various Google Hangouts and also conducting Workshops.

Themed  On the Road to Actions:  Moving Beyond the MDGs, post 2015 provided me with Platform for  Plenary sessions, Workshops, Round table Discussions, Networking, UN Mission Visits, New Social Venture Competitions, MDG Related Skills Building and Campaign Introductions Leadership- U.N. Staff participation at sessions and as Young leader from UAE Inter-generational Leadership Exchanges

Additionally, as delegate I had the opportunity to hear from renowned speakers and workshop leaders and participate in discussions on urgent issues of today and help make permanent impact throughout the world.
