While I was in Goa, India on Holiday I was tempted to visit the fishermen?s colony, in order to feel their culture.

There was a group of fishermen loading the fishing net of to the boat. I enquired about their daily routine. They explained that they leave early in the morning in deep sea & come back late in the evening. They are usually out in water for 12-14 hours at a stretch.

Despite such a hard routine it is difficult & challenging for them to make both the ends meet. The size & quality of fishes is worsening day by day.

My heart goes to them & my best wishes for a giant catch next morning as I also extended a helping hand in loading the net in the boat.
