![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() On 31st July, all the members of Green Globe went to Bee'ah labor camp behind Industrial Area's Police Station and gave food to 250 laborers as a part of Sheikh Zayed Humanitarian Day's celebrations. The labor camp was a well maintained two-storied building. Most of the youth members of Green Globe were present. It was great to see such many youths being so interested in voluntary in works. The food package comprised of Dates, Biryani, Laban and Water given to all the 250 laborers. Bee'ah officials Mr Abdullah and Mr Ali Akbar were present. In th end of the event we had a sense of satisfaction in having helped the laborers. We were sad to hear that the company did not provide food to laborers and that they normally cooked their own food. We really have to salute these laborers who work in the scroching summer temperatures of about 53 C and freezing temperatures of up to 12 C. The event was a great success and I hope the same for the others. We also thank the donators in helping us make this event possible. |
