  I wrote about this amazing opportunity and great honour that has been bestowed and entrusted to my country, Zambia to co-host the UNWTO general assembly with Zimbabwe next month. Here is what happened, earlier this month Zambia hosted the COSAFA Cup Football games where we had quite a number of african national soccer teams gather in Zambia to fight to become champion of the COSAFA games. Among the countries were, Zimbabwe, Seychelles, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa etc Zimbabwe being the 2012 COSAFA Cup Champions. The games went on until the final two met on the battlefields of Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to see whose the better team and guess who?! its was Zimbabwe Vs. Zambia- the hosts of the UNWTO! amazing right. Long story short Zambia thwarted Zimbabwe with 2 - 0 and became COSAFA Champions! |
