During my vacation in UK , while walking along the South bank of Thames River , London –on the road towards London eye , I saw this intriguing display of plants and window boxes. I was thrilled to see these cute window boxes with variety of plants. it smelled wonderful walking along the herb pots. I loved the way the windows were used in display. The Queen?s Walk Windows Gardens are large-scale allotments created from reclaimed windows that span one of the busiest and most activated public places. There are series of ?rooms? made of large planters with each plant family taking centre stage in each room. The walls of the rooms are made up of windows scattered with window boxes. We had a great walk along these window gardens. The Queen's Walk window gardens have pledged to grow more than 500 meals as part of the growing meals for London Campaign. |
