Today Saturday,: 29 June 2013, in a way of keeping up with the usual acts of volunteerism and community service, we went along with a tree planting exercise that we partake as our monthly volunteerism in Shah Alam,Malaysia.The Major Sponsor of the event is the MBSA(SHAH ALAM TREES FOR LIFE)

The tree planting event successfully ended with 1230 shade trees (Filicium Decipiens) planted around Shah Alam Stadium compound. It was a great day to see more young people are inspired on this event. Thank you KK Aw, Bernard Eng Khim Sheng  and Mohd Sulaiman Gerrard for the guidance to the students.There were several groups and organizations starting from schoolls,Non-governemtnal organizations and even companies that came and participated to make it more successful.It was our 4th tree planting event is scheduled on:

Program Agenda :
8.00 am - Arrival of Volunteers Registration / Light breakfast
8.30 am - Ketibaan Jemputan VIP, Ahli Majlis, Timbalan Datuk Bandar, Pengarah Jabatan, Ketua Bahagian Dan Pengurus Cawangan.
8.45 am - Ketibaan Datuk Bandar MBSA
8.50 am - Ucapan Perasmian oleh Y. Bhg. Datuk Bandar
9.00 am - Briefing on planting procedures
9.10 am - Tree planting
10.30 am - Ucapan Aluan oleh Pengerusi Program.

- Bersurai

Organizers of the event provided the following :
• Gardening Tools
• Water (in dispensers)
• Refreshments (breakfast and lunch)
• Rubber boots


Certificate of participation were provided upon request and was be sign by Datuk Bandar of Shah Alam himself after  the tree planting.
