Benefits of Cycling.

  We, cyclists are a special kind of people.  We sometimes wanna ride our big-fat tires going up & down through the hills. Sometimes we wanna hang around other fellow-cyclists while riding the skinny road bikes. [Sometimes, we wanna visit the hospital through stunt-riding our BMXs? (without safety-gears):P]

Cycling has a great health and Eco-benefit too. Let's take a look at some of the major benefits of Cycling:


       1. Environmental Advantages:  There is a huge no. of cars in Bangladesh. If all those cars could be replaced by Bikes. Then there would be an amount of 32% less air pollution than now.*


       2. As Exercising tool: Most of us know how to cycle and once you have learned you don't forget. So, it is a life-long exercising tool.


       3.Cycling builds strength and muscle tone: Contrary to normal perceptions, cycling is not a fitness activity that solely involves the legs. Cycling builds strength in a holistic manner since every single part of the body is involved in cycling.


       4.Flexibility: It increases the flexibility, specially of the legs.


       5.Cycling builds stamina: Cycling is very effective in doing so, because people enjoy cycling and they wouldn't really notice that they have gone farther the last time they went cycling.


       6.Cycling eats up calories: Cycling is a good way to lose those unwanted pounds. Steady cycling burns approximately 300 calories per hour. If you cycle for 30 minutes every day you would burn 1 pounds of fat in a year.


       7.Reduces Stress: Using a bike to commute to and from work not only reduces the amount of pollution but also can be far less stressful than sitting in traffic for an hour or more each way.


       8.Reduces noise: The bell of the bike is the only thing that makes noise. (Unless you got a broken cycle :v )
