Since it is becoming very hot in Dubai I went to Mc Donalds to enjoy the ice cream priced at one dirham only (Cheapest and good quality too)

I saw a pamphlet kept at the entrance which contained the details of the Community Work being carried out at Mc Donald's UAE.

One point that interested me most was the bio diesel initiative mentioned therein.

I thought it is appropriate to share it on the Tunza Platform.

Since July 2011, Mc Donald's UAE's logistics fleet has been running on fuel made from its own used vegetable oil.

THe biodiesel is converted by the Dubai based company "Neutral Fuels", a UAE backed venture that makes use of environment friendly technology.  The initiative is a part of Dubai's green schemes.
