          I am very happy to share with you all that I won 9 medals and we as team won 4 trophies in the Global round of World Scholar Cup 2013. Since 21st June till this night(23rd June) we were extremely tied up with this global competition of such large scale where 1300 students from 30 different countries had participated. Last year global round was in Thailand but this year it was in Dubai. On 31st May-1st June in regional round , our team had qualified for this global round. Today after our stupendous performance we have qualified for International round to be held at Yale university in USA. This competition /tournament had debate rounds , essay writing rounds, Scholar's quiz/bowl and Scholar's challenge(multiple choice test) . We have won as : 2nd best team in debate category 5th best team in collaborative(essay)writing 10th best team OVERALL from about 350 teams globally. and we have got some honourable mentions as well. I have not only come up performer and more confident person from this tournament but also got opportunity to mingle and compete with scholars from different countries like China , Japan , India , USA, UK , Nigeria , Czech Republic,Malaysia , Srilanka , Indonesia , Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brazil. We have now qualified for the final , international round to happen in Nov at USA. |
