 Many parts of Nepal is facing difficulties in transportation and even in living these days due to heavy rainfall followed by flooding. According to the national news, many people in Terai have lost their homes, properties and even their lives due to flooding. The rainfall has however been useful for rice plantation. The situation of roads in Nepal were already in a disastrous condition and is made worse by the heavy rainfall. People are facing difficulty in transportation and seeking government help for clearing the roads. Heavy rainfall followed by droughts was seen during last year as well. This may be another effect of climate change. |
