    Nelson Mandela is not only one of the most respected leader in this world, he also is a great inspiration to many who wish to contribute towards social change process. So, when Nahtam Social Responsibility, an Abu Dhabi based organisation who are doing fantastic works towards betterment of our society, had decided to publish a book named "67 Inspiring Stories" to show their tribute for the man on his forthcoming 95th. birthday, it's indeed a very big event. 67 people have been chosen from all over UAE who are contributing towards social and community development. I felt very honoured and proud when Nahtam contacted me and informed me that they had selected me for my contribution in forming "Green Brigade" and then working continuously towards spreading environmental awareness across the society in UAE with my group members. They had chosen my works with Green Brigade as one of the inspiring. On 3rd June-13, the book is finally released with a press conference in Abu Dhabi. The book is "priceless" and will be distributed in various schools/institutions in various parts of the world free by Nahtam. I received my copy of the book and presently I am trying to get the pdf copy so that I can forward the same to you all... It's a great feeling to be a part of the initiative to show our gratitude to the most respected leader of this era...Nelson Mandela is not a name, it's an inspiration to many like us...salute you...wish you a speedy recovery... |
