Last week in May, 25^th – 31^st 2013, the Indonesian Greenaction Forum committed an environmental workshop, known as Eco-education Programme. This workshop was held respectively in the hall of SD N 2 Jambu, involving more than 100 participants.  The first workshop agenda of IGaF?s  eco-projects engaged children and youth, particularly from 27 clusters of elementary and Islamic Boarding School at Mlonggo District, Jepara.

This workshop aimed to educate students on conserving the environment in Indonesia, and to train students on how to increase their environmental awareness. This program was directly supported by UNESCO-Jakarta, TUNZA Eco-generation, Eubios Ethics Institute and was approved by UNEP TUNZA SEAYEN.

The program was executed steeply, comprising environmental seminar, green creativity, student workshop, planting, green awarding and environmental games. We invited two eminent guest speakers which are Head of Education and Culture Department-Mlonggo, Jepara Regency and a respected headmaster of SD N 2 Jambu.

We convince by moving forward to the realm of education especially in the environment, the !--object--ive of the program will be easily attained. In addition, we will be a pioneer to start up an early environmental education.
