         Connecting with the theme of WED 2013 Think Eat Save, the members of SynergY youth traveled to Abu Dhabi and made a presentation to Al Futtaim Carillion Project Officials on -10 Ways of Reducing Food Waste and likewise reducing the need of Landfill and saving the environment. The Presentation was well attended by hundreds of employees and communication made effective by Handouts, Posters and also distributed food packages and juices for the Construction site workers. We used Art by some of our members to give out the message that reducing food wastage is like saving money as if it s going in a saving bank and also in turn helping the environment. The Best Art was submitted by Kavya, SynergY member and student from the Indian High School. This was also a listed Activity with UNEP- WED2013 Activities around the World. We are Proud to share this innovative activity. |
