Born in 1761 to a French family, Marie Tussaud was characterized by her artistic flair, entrepreneurial streak and fearless spirit. Having mastered the art of wax sculpting in her teens, Tussaud took up the role of art tutor to the royal household in Versailles, Paris. After the gruesome French Revolution, she went to Britain to explore new opportunities. For 33 years she staged her collection of the famous and infamous throughout Britain, bringing significant global events to life

Madame Tussauds was established over 200 years ago as the very first attraction in history which provided the general public with the opportunity to get close to A-list celebrities, sporting legends, political heavyweights and historical icons. Today, a total of twelve attractions of Madame Tussauds around the globe, including Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, continue to celebrate the art of wax sculpting inherited from the days of Marie Tussaud.

I happen to visit it in 2011.I wonder a simple thing like wax can make such wonders of Art. Given a little heat it melts & allows the artist to make any shape. The wax sculptures are all so very beautiful that you can look and admire them the all day. Under a single roof it the best place to admire & photo shoot the global celebrities.

We children are also like wax. Apply some heat of knowledge & wisdom and child of today is ready to take up to the world like a storm. This inspires us to be better than best, take all the competition in stride & stand out from crowd.
