Tree Planting is the most simple and effective way of combatting desertification and climate change . Green Hope UAE members began 5^th June by planting 20 saplings. 5^th June is also my birthday and for the last 6 years I have been planting trees on this day as my personal contribution to reducing the carbon footprint of our planet.

Waste segregation and recycling is an extremely important aspect of conservation . The theme of WED2013 is Think.Eat.Save and waste segregation – organic and recyclable , helps to reuse our scarce resources for a better tomorrow.

Our group works very closely with EWS ( Emirates Wildlife Society) and we were invited to a movie screening organized by them. The movie ?EARTH? was absolutely inspirational and it showed the biodiversity challenges that we face in this modern age.
