As a part of the ?Heart of Sharjah? project, unsung laborers have been working hard since March 2012, in the hot and sunny afternoons. Now, because the schools are going to reopen, they want to finish this project as soon as possible to ease the flow of traffic.

 Due to this they have now started to work in the hot and humid nights while we are roosting to the comfort of our soft beds. When I saw this, I was so overwhelmed by their dedication that I instantly purchased cold milk tetra packs and biscuits from a nearby grocery and ?served these heroes? as a part of my project. On being interviewed, they told me that they are going to work till 5:30 am in the morning. When they accepted the refreshments that I gave them, the smile on their faces was priceless.

Before we started, it was very important for me & my team to realise that every drop of the sweat of these laborers will contribute in revitalizing and restoring this heritage area.

 This is the sympathy that we need to provide them with as they are really the true heroes who are never felicitated. We need to give back to them, these real heroes to help them live a better life whilst they busy in making our life the best.
