Happy World Environment Day to all!! This time I celebrated this day in a unique way.

The Emirates Environmental Group's Waste Management Awarding Ceremony was held on this year's world environment day.

They felicitated the active members of EEG by awarding them certificates and special prizes to the top 3 contributors in various categories from the chairperson of EEG, Ms. Habiba Al Mar'ashi. I was proud to be among top 3 in the beverage carton collection campaign and was crowned as the 1^st Runner Up.

 I felt elated and proud to be given immense recognition on World Environment Day. Since I am a member of the Cartoona Club, which is an initiative launched by the EEG in which we are ambassadors to our school and neighborhoods to spread awareness about tetrapak recycling, I felt that it was my responsibility to give a huge amount of cartons for recycling.
