Africa Freedoms Day!

by | 26-05-2013 06:57

Today May 25th is the day every African celebrates their FREEDOM. Today we honor the freedom fighters and stand proud for what they did for us.
Today marks a new beginning 50 years in the making, valiant escape from the tyranny and mysticism now we are free.
All heads of state from 53 countries of my beautiful continent gathered in Ethiopia, Addis Ababa to deliberate and to celebrate for it is the Golden jubilee for we have enjoyed 50 years of the freedom and the here we see Africa unified under what we call the Africa Union (AU). I had an opportunity to catch one of the heads of state who said something about us, the youth- that its time they included us in present issues than always refering to us as "future leaders" when we are here now, when we can lead now and some of us already have taken that responsibility so I thought it be awesome to share with my people about my continent because i am a proud African!!!
In the picture you will see a statue breaking chains of many things not human rights worthy, that from my country Zambia, we call it the freedom statue. we got our independence in 1964, October 24th and since that time we have had three governments and 5 Presidents, we have enjoyed peace and serenity with the governments leading Zambia the best way they know how for its people. Zambia is a developing country and it has climbed the ladder of development immensely if you saw Zambia in 60's and now you'd say wow! because its the only word that would express your feelings. And Mother Zambia, i am proud to be your Ambassador.
