The world?s energy needs are increasing manifold every day with the rise in global population and industrialization. This has put an enormous strain on conventional energy resources most of which also add to the carbon footprint of our planet. Thus the need for clean , renewable and alternate energy assumes immense importance and will hold the key for sustainable development.

The Dubai Global Energy Forum 2013 provided a platform for energy solution providers and leaders to share policies, practices , innovations and themes for clean, renewable energy.

Green HopeUAE has always promoted alternate energy usage , especially through its association with FISKER and also attendance at various previous summits such as the World Future Energy Summits. Thus attending the 2013 Dubai Global Energy Forum was a stepping stone in increasing our awareness levels on this important subject. We were fortunate to be able to listen to several eminent speakers who are global experts in the field of alternate energy. This learning will help us to propagate the concept of clean energy amongst all stakeholders , in particular, amongst children and youth whose future is at stake.
